$600 fine for Bundaberg man

A BUNDABERG man has pleaded guilty in Bundaberg Magistrates Court to trying to headbutt a security guard at the Queenslander Hotel after being asked to leave.

Police prosecutor Sergeant Barry Stevens said Zachary Ryan Martin was in the pub when staff asked him to stop drinking from a jug and to use a glass.

He refused and staff at the hotel asked him to leave.

As he left, he stopped in the foyer and yelled: “I didn't f***ing do anything.”

Once outside, the court was told, Martin grabbed the security guard by the shirt and tried to headbutt him.
