Brothers have the chance to swoop after the Seagulls fall

THE Seagulls have hit the ground like a discarded chip and Brothers are in the best place to pick up the scraps at the end of the A-grade rugby league season.

With three teams on 23 competition points - Brothers, Wests and Easts - Hervey Bay's forfeit in the last round of the season has gifted Brothers a chance to claim the minor premiership.

Wests could finish on top with a win over Isis, Easts might be second or third depending on the other game's result and Isis have the opportunity to end the year second on the ladder or fourth.

The drama will unfold at Salter Oval Saturday with Easts v Wallaroos playing at 4.45pm and Isis v Wests at 6.30pm.
