Brooks enjoys profitable day

BUNDABERG trainer Ron Brooks had a profitable day at Thabeban Park, claiming a quinella in the Maiden 460m.

His emerging bolter Live Wire Lakoda won over kennel mate Ledaro Holly, with Southern Spirit third.

Richo's Choice claimed the Fifth Grade final in style, setting a personal best of 26.46 to finish ahead of Count Five and Ledaro Midge, by margins of 5¾ lengths and one length.

Can Acker Run claimed its 10th win from 17 starts in the Top Grade 460m with a quick time of 26.60.

The Kev Bryant-trained dog beat Flying Shack and Oh My Pappa by margins of 1½ and two lengths.

Disco Roberta continued to bring joy to trainer Jeff Healy, claiming its third win from as many starts.

Disco Roberta won the Fifth Grade 460m with a time of 26.56 seconds.

It beat Tammy Shiraz and Haras Command by margins of one length and 6¼ lengths.
