Bridges marks success

IT was time to party for Bridges Allied Services, who have marked their 11th anniversary providing mental health recovery services in Bundaberg.

The celebration on Thursday also marked the first anniversary since the organisation started providing drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs.

“Over the past 11 years, it would have been thousands who we have helped,” Bridges executive officer Sharon Sarah said.

“With the drug and alcohol service, we’ve had 414 referrals over the past 12 months.”

To help celebrate, the staff had an open day to show the public their services, and also launched their new Mind Body Life program, which is designed the help the mentally ill retain a healthy lifestyle.
