Both lanes blocked due to two vehicle crash
1.30pm: A QUEENSLAND Ambulance Service spokesperson has said one person is being prepared for transfer to Rockhampton Hospital following a crash on Canning St, near the intersection with Fitzroy St at 12.50pm.
The spokesperson said emergency services crews were working to free the man from the vehicle, with the driver's side door damaged and unable to be opened.
They said the man had minor injuries.
INITIAL: THE road is blocked at the scene of a two vehicle crash down the road from another bad accident in the region.
Reports indicate at least one person is trapped in the vehicle on the corner of Fitzroy and Canning Streets.
Reporters Melanie Plane and Michelle Gately came across the accident and says the road is blocked.
They said one vehicle is badly damaged.
