Boasting busking skills

YOUNG people are fine-tuning their voices and getting set to strike the guitar strings with the Bundy Busk event this weekend.

The Defenestration band members Sam Fregnoese, 14, and Dante Stephens, 12, took advantage of The Twine Development Workshop along with eight others yesterday and said the workshop was a great boost for their confidence.

Bundaberg Regional Council youth development officer Andrea Bax said the sessions were designed to encourage people take part in this weekend’s festivities.

Places are still available for today’s workshop by contacting 4130 4175.

Bundy Busk is open to everyone aged under 25, with $1000 shared prize money.
