Bundy in Bloom a wrap

JOVIAL ABC Radio gardening guru Tom Wyatt made the Bundaberg Civic Centre come alive as Bundy in Bloom wound down on the weekend.

Mr Wyatt fielded many gardening questions in two hour-long sessions, and also found time to judge some fruit cake.

“Oh, it's a terrible job,” Mr Wyatt said with a grin.

Convenor and vice-president of the Bundaberg Bushhouse and Orchid Club Cynthia Hardwick said they had such a good turn-out there were plans to make it an annual event.

Bundaberg Quilters also farewelled Bundy in Bloom with an RSPCA fundraiser, the Airing of the Quilts.
