FOREIGNERS including those from New Zealand, "don't fit into the Australian way of life", or so says a woman caught telling an Australian teenager his father should "pack up and go back".
A Brisbane teenager managed to film the bus stop conversation when he is told that Australia is being "overrun by foreigners". As the son of a Kiwi man, he was also part of the problem.
The woman who is off-camera asks the 19-year-old: "What do you think you are"? before saying she did not believe he was born in Australia.
When he says his father was born in New Zealand, she tells him "It would probably be advisable for him to pack up and go back to New Zealand".
The woman then tells him it's a "myth" that people from other countries contribute to Australia financially.
The video was posted to Reddit, apparently by the teen's father who wrote: "Today my 19 yr old son taught me how to respond to bigotry with tolerance and integrity. Must take after his mother".
