Beefed-up carols boast bovine cast

FOR an udderly enjoyable evening this Saturday, head down to New Moonta for Christmas carol singing with a twist - cow-olls by moo-light.

Cattle farmer and event organiser Penny Driver said the event would raise money for the Heritage Gin Gin Health Bank and also for Hannah's Choice Foundation.

"I just love doing things that are a little bit different," she said.

"I'm going to have my pet cows on the paddock right next to us so they'll be there when we have the cow-olls."

A sausauge sizzle begins at 6pm before the carols at 7pm at Crescent Valley, 527 Killers Rd, New Moonta.
