THE Rifle Range Bridge at Bargara has been further damaged overnight, this time far worse than the last.

Bundaberg Regional Council Bargara representative Greg Barnes said he received an email at 6am on Tuesday with a photo showing the new damage.

Cr Barnes was furious and said the bridge may have to be closed pending repair and estimated the cost to be in the thousands.

"They've done it again last night and they've done a heap of damage to it," Cr Barnes said.

Cr Barnes said he raised the issue with the councils officers who would now contact the police.
