Bargara author officially launches first novel in Brisbane

BARGARA author Cherie Curtis is already pulling crowds after the official launch of her first novel in Brisbane on Saturday.

Cherie, who goes by the pen name of Cheryse Durrant, officially launched her novel The Blood She Betrayed at the State Library of Queensland and is set to host a book signing at Bundaberg Regional Library on Wednesday evening.

The local signing has already reached maximum capacity so two more events have been scheduled for Thursday to keep up with the hot demand for Cheryse and her captivating novel which is the first in her Heart Hunters series which attracted international exposure when it was discovered by LJ Smith, the author of The Vampire Diaries.

Folks who missed out on a spot at Wednesday night's event are invited to attend a book signing at Dymock's Bundaberg on Thursday at 11am.

An author chat and lunch will also be held at Alowishus Delicious at 12.30pm.

"It has all been fabulous and very exciting," the author said.

The Blood She Betrayed is available for purchase at all good book stores.
