Baby hospitalised after single-vehicle crash
A BABY has been taken to hospital after a single-vehicle crash at Kallangur early this morning.
Police say around 4.30am a car was travelling on Anzac Avenue when it has left the road, gone down an embankment, clipped a concrete pylon and landed in a creek between Brays Road and the Bruce Highway.
The baby was taken to the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital with serious injuries.
A 35-year-old woman was trapped in the vehicle for some time and has since been taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The 25-year-old male driver was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
