Australia third on ‘crowdsourcing terrorists’ hit list

"CROWD-SOURCING" terrorists have rank Australia at equal third on their list for Islamic State-inspired attacks.

A US Homeland Security committee's "high-level" assessment of 100 known terror plots since 2014 found the number of attacks planned for Australia was higher than all other Western countries except America, France, News Ltd reports.
Australia was equal third on the list with the UK.

The report also shows that in the first six months of this year, ISIS successfully completed 44% of their attempted plots compared to 31% in 2015.

The number of casualties have doubled since January 1.

The report also claims that terrorists are crowdsourcing to raise money to fund their attacks.

"Although law enforcement agencies have thwarted more plots overall than have been executed, this year has seen ISIS's highest success rate to date," the report said.
