Clinic is a slam dunking success

BUNDABERG Bulls' guard Todd Meyerding and coach Aaron Wade are just some of the team running a school holidays basketball clinic this week at Century 21 stadium.

Running from Monday and wrapping up tomorrow, the Bundaberg Basketball Summer Holiday Clinic aims to give youngsters a good fun introduction to basketball, and to help to beat holiday boredom.

On Monday, 25 eager children turned up to participate, with Meyerding and company putting them through their paces.

Although the majority had never played before, they picked up the skills quickly and no doubt will be dribbling, passing and shooting like Bundy Bulls players in no time.

It was a good way for them to keep active and sporting without hassling their parents at home.

Although the clinic finishes tomorrow, another one will start again next month.

For more details on the upcoming camp, telephone Bundaberg Basketball on 4152 2778.
