A GROUP lobbying for the eradication of pornography in Toowoomba has taken aim at a city bus company for declining an offer to advertise on its fleet.

A City Free From Porn posted a proposed advertisement design to its Facebook page after an unnamed bus company refused to allow the ad on its buses.

The organisation said it was working on plans for an even bigger advertisement in the city.

"The bus company has refused to put our ad on their bus stating (it is) of a sexual and political nature," the post read.

"We are thankful they have some guidelines unlike many of the other advertisers in our nation.

"We are working to get this ad on another billboard."
