IF YOU'RE in the market for a sport or recreational facility, then the Alloway County Club may be just what you're looking for.

Expressions of interest for the 2.52ht property, which includes the bar and restaurant as well as the large sporting fields with lighting facilities, close at 4pm Thursday.

Bundaberg's CBD Realty agent David Radonich said there had been considerable interest in the Goodwood Rd property.

He said given the size and nature of the facilities, interested parties were really just limited by their imagination as to what it could be used for and options could include re-opening the existing club, developing or considering alternative uses.

Mr Radonich said the site was zoned sport or recreation.

The Alloway Country Club's board of directors chose to close its doors in February after unsuccessfully trying to trade its way out of debt.

The club went into voluntary administration in May last year owing $188,000.
