Alleged robber takes cuts to the hand in botched theft

A MAN has received cuts to his hand while allegedly trying to rob a Gympie Street house in Landsborough.

Police say two men entered through the house's unlocked door at 9:10pm and threatened two occupants with a knife while demanding cash.

A struggle began and the man who entered the house received cuts to his hand before fleeing. 

A man was later found on Landsborough-Maleny Road.

A 43-year-old Caboolture man has been charged with two counts of armed robbery and one count each of enter dwelling with intent and stealing.

He is expected to appear at the Maroochydore Magistrates Court tomorrow, September 26.

He has received medical attention for non-life threatening cuts to his hand.

The two occupants of the house where not physically injured.
