Alice Litzow to contest Miss Teen Galaxy Australia

WHEN Bundaberg teen Alice Litzow steps on to the stage at the Miss Teen Galaxy Australia pageant on the Gold Coast this Thursday, she will have two goals in her sights.

One is to go on to the Nationals of the Australia Galaxy Pageants, and then to the Internationals to be held in Florida, USA.

The other is to raise more funds for the Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors.

"It is a great organisation that helps sick and injured wildlife," said Alice, 18, who has been hard at work raising money for the good cause.

"I have had a stall at the Shalom Markets, where I sold my clothes and other items," she said. "I also had an event at the Tatts, where there was live music, sausage sizzle and a raffle. I'd like to thank everybody who donated prizes for that day."

The teen already holds the title of Miss Teen Bundaberg Galaxy after winning through the local round of the Australia Galaxy Pageants, and is excited about the next event.

"There are five categories that I will be judged on - fashion wear, swim wear, evening wear, photogenic and an interview," she smiled.

Alice is grateful for the family and community support she has received so far in her quest to achieve her goals.

"I wouldn't be doing this without my family's support. They support me 100%," she said. To help Alice Litzow raise funds, go to https://missgalaxyaustralia-wildlifewarriors.everydayhero.com/au/alice .
