Acts and sponsors lining up for charity flood concert
THE upcoming Mud, Sweat and Tears charity flood concert is gaining momentum swiftly, with more acts and sponsors jumping on board.
The event will be held at Salter Oval on March 16, to feature top acts including Gang Gajang and X Factor finalist, and Bundy boy, Justin Standley.
Hinkler Central Shopping Centre has just been announced as the major sponsor, along with a range of community businesses, including the NewsMail.
Bundaberg Live's Craig Walsh has been organising the acts and said he came very close to securing Jimmy Barnes.
"He pulled out suddenly due to prior commitments," he said.
Mr Walsh said the celebrations, for everyone to enjoy for just a gold coin donation, would be a major fundraiser for local organisations including The Salvation Army, State Emergency Service and the Rural Fire Brigade.
"It's an amazing line-up with multiple genres as well," he said.
The day will include raffles and auctions.
