Men apologise for bloody brawl that grounded flight

SIX men have apologised for a bloody brawl that ended with a pilot having to land their Thailand-bound Jetstar flight in Bali on Wednesday.

The men, who are expected to fly into Melbourne airport today, released an error-strewn statement yesterday.

"We apologise and are deeply sorry for the passengers and staff of Jetset flight Sydney to Phuket and the Bali immagration for making us feel at home," they wrote.

A video emerged yesterday showing Indonesian authorities removing the men from Flight JQ27 after its forced stop-over at Denpasar airport.

One of the alleged brawlers appeared to have a black eye.

Witness Romy Papas told News Corp one man was punched in the face.

"Blood was all over his chest and he was wiping it on the seats and there was bloody napkins everywhere," Ms Papas said.
