Call for witnesses to pub stoush after Mitchel Pearce arrest

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an alleged pub stoush, which led to the arrest of NRL star Mitchell Pearce in Kings Cross at the weekend, to come forward.

The Roosters halfback was allegedly celebrating a win over the Tigers when he was asked to leave a nightclub early Sunday morning.

Police allege the 25-year-old became argumentative and refused to leave when asked.

He was taken to the Kings Cross police station and fined $500.

Investigations are continuing.
