21-year-old comes off motorbike

A MOTORBIKE rider was taken to hospital Sunday afternoon after coming off his bike at Bargara.

Sergeant Officer-in-Charge at Bargara Police Station Matt Steinhardt said the man was travelling with a group of motorbike riders and had tried to overtake a slower vehicle when the incident happened.

"As he has come back into his lane, he has gone off onto the grass side of the rode road and come off his motorbike," Sgt Steinhardt said.

The 21-year-old Moore Park man was transported to Bundaberg Hospital at about 2.30pm with minor injuries.

The incident follows a tragic crash on Saturday night where a 22-year-old man was killed after coming off his bike on Barolin St
