Missing girl found thanks to social media

UPDATE: The 15-year-old girl reported missing from Mount Gravatt has been located safe and well this morning.

Police would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance as the child was located as a result of feedback received from social media

EARLIER: A 15-year-old girl has gone missing from Upper Mount Gravatt.

She was last seen leaving an educational facility on Klumpp Road and police say this is out of character for her.

The girl is described as Caucasian with a slim build, around 165cm tall with dark brown hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a maroon school uniform.
