10,000 make it an Agro success

AN ESTIMATED 10,000 people walked through the gates at the NewsMail's AgroTrend over the course of the three-day event, which wrapped up on Saturday for another successful year.

As the weather held out for the agricultural exhibition and many exhibitors looked back on a busy three days of sales and inquiries, organiser Col Reynolds said the dates of the event would be reviewed for next year to determine if this year's April change was the right way to go.

He said $50,000 raised from AgroTrend would be donated to charities that pitched in.
