A MAN accused of committing a terrifying home invasion on Wednesday night has faced court.
Jarrod Matthew Halls, 24, faced Bundaberg Magistrates Court today charged with two counts of common assault and three of burglary.
He chose to have his matter adjourned to tomorrow, when he is expected to make a bail application with the help of a duty lawyer.
Magistrate Jennifer Batts told Halls he would only have one chance to make a bail application.
"So it's always a good idea to make it your best shot," Ms Batts said.
"You may have this matter adjourned to tomorrow, where you will have the opportunity of being represented by the duty lawyer."
Halls agreed it may not be wise to represent himself.
"I'm probably better off waiting," he said.
The matter was set down for further mention at 9am tomorrow
