AS RESIDENTS awoke yesterday morning from an overnight soaking, forecasters say plenty more wet weather is on the way.
But the rain was patchy, with big falls near Biggenden and rather less in the city.
Bundaberg got 18mm, 26mm was reported at Bargara and 20mm at Sugarland.
Gin Gin got 40.4mm, Childers 26mm, Biggenden 36.1mm and Agnes Water 50mm.
But Bev Geissler, who lives 10km from Biggenden, said 85mm fell at her home in a couple of hours.
"It was just solid rain," she said.
Weatherzone, which carries a long-range forecast on its website, says there is a 75% or more probability of rain on 19 of the next 28 days.
Meteorologist Josh Fisher said the region could expect above average rainfall going into the autumn.
Over the next couple of days, Weatherzone expects isolated showers, but nothing particularly heavy.
"There will be increasing sunny breaks going into the weekend," he said.
Mr Fisher said maximum temperatures were expected to stay around 30 degrees.
