BUNDABERG retirees were being urged to make sure they had plans in case they fell ill or were injured.
Ozcare state manager for community care Lanna Ramsay said many people waited until the last minute to make important decisions.
"...work out where and how you will live if your health deteriorates and start to think about health care directives so your family can be prepared," she said.
Ozcare has prepared a list of questions, including where do I want to live, what will I do if I can't drive and what types of care and support can I access if I remain home.
