LEAVE the ginger tablets at home and join a qualified marine biologist for a guided whale-spotting walking tour at Point Lookout on Stradbroke Island.

The 1.5km North Gorge Walk has been purpose built with much of the trail on raised wooden walk ways and is suitable for most fitness levels.

Equipped with a Point Lookout Whale Trail Map and a set of binoculars you will learn along the way about Straddie's myriad of sea birds, dolphins and humpback whales.

Tours run at 10am and 2pm, leaving from Fishes Cafe, located opposite the North Gorge Walk entrance.
