Car jacking on Gold Coast

A MAN had his car stolen when two men with baseball bats pulled up in front of him and dragged him from his car on a Gold Coast road.

Police said the man was driving along Gilston Road, Nerang, about 9.45pm (AEST) on Tuesday when a car overtook him and forced him to stop.

Two men got out of the car and threatened him with baseball bats before pulling him from his car.

The pair then drove off in the blue 2008 model Subaru WRX Impreza sedan.

They are described as of Caucasian appearance and aged in their late 20s early 30s.

One man has a solid build with short dark hair and was wearing a silver chain bracelet.

The other man has a proportionate build, shoulder-length, straight, blonde hair and a short blonde/ginger goatee beard.

He was wearing a white t-shirt, baggy blue jeans and an off-white baseball cap.
