Keeping up with Kardashians' kids

KEEPING up with the Kardashians obviously extends to children, with Kourtney admitting she and sister Kim are in 'a race' to have kids.

KIM Kardashian wants four children.

The reality TV star - who is in a relationship with NFL star Miles Austin - admits she has always wanted a large family, but has lowered her expectation as she has got older.

She said: "I do want kids. I want four. I started at six a few years ago."

However Kim is not planning to rush into motherhood after seeing how difficult it has been for her sister Kourtney Kardashian to raise her eight-month-old son Mason.

Referring to Mason, Kim explained: "It kind of shows me what hard work it is and it kind of makes me want to step back a little bit and not have a baby right away."

Kim is not the only member of the Kardashian family to be contemplating motherhood.

Her sister Kourtney has also admitted she and boyfriend Scott Disick would welcome becoming parents for the second time, though they are not deliberately trying to conceive.

She said: "I'm not trying but I'm not not trying. Me and Khloe are on the same plan. It's a race".

Earlier this year, Khloe Kardashian admitted she and husband Lamar Odom had stopped using contraception in preparation to have a family.

She said: "I'm not rushing it, but I'm also not doing anything to prevent it. We both want to have children together and I think we're in an ideal situation. We're just happy together."
