RUM City Masters talent Trudy Ford broke the Queensland record for 25m breastroke and her club finished second in the aggregate Amelia Newey Shield behind Maryborough last weekend.
Ford was one of 10 age champions from the club at the meet.
Rum City Masters had a record 19 teams in relay events, winning nine age groups and gaining placings in five others.
New members Kirra Scarborough and Gary Luthe, as well as returning swimmer Ian Winning, all performed like seasoned campaigners, while Tracy Dunn cracked it to win age champion for the first time in the 40-44 year category.
