JUST a few weeks after testifying in the war crimes trial of Charles Taylor, supermodel Naomi Campbell may be headed back to court due to unpaid taxes.

NAOMI Campbell reportedly owes $63,487 in unpaid taxes.

The Detroit News claims the supermodel had a tax lien - which is imposed to secure the payment of taxes, including unpaid income taxes - filed against her by America's Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on July 28 stating she hasn't paid the sum of money relating to work she did in 2009.

The lien, which was filed at the New York Registrar's office, gave Naomi's address as the Carnegie Hall Tower skyscraper in New York City.

It has been a turbulent few weeks for the 40-year-old catwalk beauty. She had to appear in court in The Hague, Netherlands, on August 5 to give evidence at the war crimes trial of Liberian dictator Charles Taylor.

During the trial, Naomi was accused by her former agent Carol White of receiving 'blood diamonds' - jewels mined in a war zone and sold to aid warlord activity or invading forces' campaigns - as a gift from Taylor after she met him at a party held at former South African President Nelson Mandela's house in September 1997.

Actress Mia Farrow also gave evidence accusing Naomi of boasting to her that she had received a "huge diamond".
