Neville still the favourite

ONLINE betting agency sportsbet.com.au has lengthened the odds against Labor winning the seat of Hinkler.

When it first published the odds last week sportsbet.com.au had sitting member Paul Neville at $1.55 to hold the seat and Labor's Belinda McNeven on $1.85.

But in the latest odds on its website Mr Neville is now on $1.40 and Ms McNeven on $2.40.

In the seat of Flynn, which sportsbet.com.au tagged as one of the most marginal seats, Labor's Chris Trevor is now at $2 odds to hold on to the seat, while LNP opponent Ken O'Dowd is favourite at $1.55.

The betting agency is predicting a swing to the Coalition in the election, but not enough to take office.

In overall betting, Labor is the short-priced $1.22 favourite to win the federal election while the Coalition's odds are $4.
