Man gets bail over assault charge

A MAN accused of grievous bodily harm was granted bail in Bundaberg Magistrates Court yesterday.
Cody James Moras, 19, of Bargara was charged with the offence after an alleged incident on Sunday.
Defence lawyer Mary Buchanan said the medical evidence was based on doctors’ “hearsay”.
“I accept that it is a grievous bodily harm now, but I don’t know whether it will remain a grievous bodily harm,” she said.
The case was adjourned.
