A TIMBER home was destroyed by fire overnight yesterday, near Gayndah.
Queensland Fire and Rescue attended the scene at the Burnett Highway, Binjour, just after 9pm.
But the house was already well alight, and they were unable to save the building.
Nobody was home at the time of the blaze.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said the blaze was not believed to have started under suspicious circumstances.
“Initial police investigations reveal the cause of the fire was not suspicious,” the spokesperson said.
