A FORMER Bundaberg resident accused of cooking speed in a Hervey Bay house has been ordered by a court to have no contact with her de facto partner.
Anthony Lyle Mayberry, 39, was remanded in custody while his co-accused Melissa Jane Lucas, formerly of Bundaberg, 34, was granted bail on strict conditions, one of those being that she not contact her de facto partner.
They both appeared in the Hervey Bay Magistrates Court after being arrested on Tuesday at an Urraween house where police uncovered a working meth lab.
Mayberry faces four charges, including producing and possessing methylamphetamine, while Lucas is accused of seven offences, including unlawful use of a motor vehicle and driving under the influence of drugs.
The two are Maryborough residents but it is understood the Main Street house where the drug lab was uncovered belonged to an acquaintance.
Mayberry and Lucas will face court again on April 22.
