FAY Geissler and Beryl Korn were just two guests at Melbourne Cup celebrations in Biggenden on Tuesday.

Plenty of party goers turned out in force, attending luncheons all over town including the Bowls Club, Grand Hotel, Commercial Hotel and the QCWA rooms.

There was a sea of bright colours, hats and fascinators throughout Biggenden, with fashion parades, sweeps and raffles raising funds for various organisations.

Hard workers unable to attend the luncheons were still treated to delicious food which was delivered to them at their workplaces.

There were several outstanding outfits around including the one worn by Beryl Korn who was judged Best Dressed Lady at the QCWA Melbourne Cup Luncheon.
