HUNDREDS of people have viewed a YouTube video  which claims to show a UFO in the skies over Bundaberg.

The three-minute YouTube video shows a shiny object moving about in the dark sky, and although a TV or radio can be heard in the background, the object doesn't make a sound.

Agnes Water alien researcher Mary Rodwell said although it was a shame the exact location, time and direction of the video was unknown, the footage bore all the hallmarks of a UFO sighting.

"I have to say there are two points as to the likely veracity of this footage," she said.

"The footage itself certainly appears genuine as it has the classic movements of a UFO.

"It is silent,  and changes as it comes into focus, occasional morphs into the classic white light/orb,  occasionally you see more of the shape of craft as it moves. No star, planet, plane or satellite does this."

Ms Rodwell said the region appeared to be a hot spot for UFO activity and at her recent seminar in Bundaberg about 70% of the audience said they had seen or had contact with alien activity.

"Quite a number of them said they'd had some kind of encounter," Ms Rodwell said.

"I've got quite a few families here that have had this sort of thing happen.

"Some of my clients are doctors, nurses, scientists, lawyers and psychologists - these are credible people."
