V8 Supercar stars to run on rum
V8 SUPERCAR drivers Fabian Coulthard and Andrew Thompson are prime examples of the popular bumper sticker “Runs on rum”.
But the Bundaberg Red Racing team stars will take that label to the extreme in the lead-up to Event 9 of the V8 Supercar Championship, around the streets of Townsville.
They will stop in at the Bundaberg Rum Distillery on Monday and are inviting fans to come along to meet them in person.
“We have a strong fan following from people who live in Bundaberg, so it will be great to be able to meet them in person,” Coulthard said.
Both drivers will also go behind the scenes and discover the Bundaberg Red secret.
The drivers will make their appearance from 10am to 4pm at the Bundaberg Rum distillery on Avenue Street.
