Fatal smash on Goodwood Rd

UPDATE:

POLICE are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred in North Gregory, north of Childers on Saturday night.

Initial investigations suggest that around 6.45pm, a vehicle travelling south along Goodwood Road has crossed the road and collided with another vehicle travelling north and has then also impacted with another north-bound vehicle.

The driver of the south-bound vehicle, a 36-year-old Rubyanna woman, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The drivers of the two other vehicles received minor injuries and were transported to Bundaberg Hospital.

The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the crash.

EARLIER:

EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a serious, three vehicle crash on Goodwood Rd.

The crash is believed to involve a small truck and two cars and happened around 5.45pm.

Goodwood Rd is currently closed and motorists need to detour via the Isis Hwy and are urged to avoid the area.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident.
