Silver Bowls Superchallenge.

Rd2. Bargara lost to Beachmere at Beachmere, 4-1 with very close games on a very heavy green running about 11 seconds. Rd3 Bargara defeated Buderim 3-2. Again as in all three rounds, it was so close no game was won or lost until the last or second last end. We sit top of the ladder due to playing an extra round.

Bronze Bowls Superchallenge.

Rd2. Bargara lost to Urangan in both Men and Ladies. Sides for 2nd February are yet to be selected. Mens form from the Fours Tournament will decide many places. Wednesday Morning Bowls.

"Beat the Heat" Open Pairs continues every Wednesday Morning. Green Fees only $5. Play will be 9am until 11.30am under the shades. Game will be approx. 18 ends of Mens, Ladies or Mixed Pairs.

Last Sunday morning Q.R.I. bowlers played their first game into 2012 for Club trophies. A big thank you to all those who participated in their numbers making this another great morning. Winners were M. McLean and K. Gray , runners up were S. Franks, A. Cummings and J. Franks with the Sportspersons award going to R. Harrison and J. Thorpe.
