BUNDABERG Police are currently investigating the theft of a large quantity of groceries.

At approximately 2pm on Monday, July 28 a female person entered a grocery store in Bolewski Street, Avoca and filled her shopping trolley with grocery items before exiting without paying.

Another female then assisted unloading the items into a silver sedan similar to a Mitsubishi Lancer before departing.

Police are appealing for public assistance to identify the person pictured who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
