ELECTED members of the new Bundaberg Regional Council have been sworn in this morning.

CEO Peter Byrne has just sworn in the region's new mayor, Cr Mal Forman as well as the new deputy, Cr Dave Batt.

The divisional councillors are now being sworn in.
