Motorcyclist dies in crash

BREAKING: A 49-YEAR-OLD Moore Park Beach man has died after crashing his motorcycle this morning.

The local man was riding his Harley Davidson bike along Isaac Moore Dr when the incident occurred.

Bundaberg Police Superintendent Rowan Bond said the cause of the smash was not yet known.

He said investigations would centre around the 49-year-old's medical history and the possibility a dog in the vicinity of the crash scene may have been involved.

"It would appear he's got halfway around a slight bend and just ridden off the road," Supt Bond said.

"He's a local who probably knows the road quite well."

Anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to phone Bundaberg Police on 4153 9111.
