Let's get behind Blackburn in the People's Choice Awards

Cycling Australia is calling for votes in the People's Choice Cyclist of the Year award. The People's Choice Cyclist of the Year award will be presented at the Jayco 2012 Australian Cyclist of the Awards being held on in Sydney on Friday 9 November, 2012.

Eligibility for the award is simple, the cyclist must be an Australian racing cyclist registered with Cycling Australia.

With the talent that BMX Australia has on the international stage it may be difficult to decide just who you may want to vote for. Do you vote for Sam Willoughby - silver medallist at the London Olympic Games and World Champion? Or do you vote for Carline Buchanan, Super Time Trial World Champion and finalists at the London games?

But it is Bundaberg talent Abbie Blackburn the regions should get behind after she claimed another Queensland title and starred in New Zealand in the Trans-Tasman test series.
