Jellyfish still a cause for concern in Wide Bay waters

WIDE BAY beach-goers have been warned to be on the look-out when swimming with recent jellyfish stings occurring in waters around Fraser Island.

Although they haven't been confirmed to be irukandji, several stings have happened in the area recently.

Although not as common in Wide Bay waters, there are a variety of jellyfish that can result in a painful sting.
