THE case of ex-Rebel bikie president Adam McCrea has finally come to an end with a $17,000 postscript in Hervey Bay Magistrates Court.

McCrea recently received a seven year prison sentence last year for supplying cocaine and other drugs charges, and yesterday he forfeited all the cash the police found at his property during investigations into those charges.

McCrea pleaded guilty to possessing tainted property - either suspected to have been stolen or as the proceeds of crime.

Police prosecutor Sergeant Kath Stagoll found $8345 in cash when they raided McCrea's Takura property in March 2009, along with a number of mobile phones, a laptop, a bank card and birth certificate which were all believed to have belonged to other people.

Then, in March 2010, police again raided the Takura property and found $9000 cash in McCrea's safe.

Sgt Stagoll said the combined total of $17,345 was considered "wrongfully obtained" and asked it be forfeited to the crown.

Magistrate Graeme Tatnell agreed, but ordered no further punishment on McCrea following this order.

Mr Tatnell said this was due to the likelihood there would have been no change to McCrea's sentence if these charges were heard at the same time as his drugs charges in the Maryborough Supreme Court last year.

This decision brought a close to countless hours McCrea has spent in Magistrates, District and Supreme Court on various charges arising out of police investigations from 2009 - 2010.

"As far as I'm concerned, that's the end of all matters," Mr Tatnell said.

"I'll be bitterly disappointed if you ever come back before a court," he told McCrea.

McCrea seemed in good spirits after being transported to court from prison.

He chatted and joked with his wife, other family members and friends while waiting to plead guilty.
