That's become one of the catchphrases ingrained in Sherlock Holmes folklore.
Grant Marks as Holmes brings this enigmatic character to life in the intimate Caloundra Chorale and Theatre Company theatre.
Sunshine Coast audiences have been thrilled by Grant in a variety of roles such as Richard Hannay (39 Steps), the Dentist (Little Shop of Horrors), Harvey (Harvey) and many more.
Grant's artistic touch was also evident in his imaginative direction of the above hits which were all sellouts.
Jodie Collie once again joins Grant as Dr Watson. From Watson's initial meeting with the formidable Holmes at Baker Street, through the years of mystery and adventure culminating in the ordeal at Reichenbach Falls, Holmes and Watson form a unique pairing.
Conan Doyle created characters that were both warm and interesting but with human failings.
This allows them to come to life on stage in The Secret of Sherlock Holmes and provides a challenge for the actors. Coupled with period costumes by Merryl Terrey and sets by Leigh Sheridan, it promises to be another success from this team.
