Five flavours combine
BUNDABERG Distilling Company will showcase the third instalment of its popular master distillers' collection at a special event on Sunday.
The distillery's Golden Reserve is a blend of five Bundaberg Distilling Company rums and has been named after a characteristic golden hue.
Bond store manager Hayden Jobson said a collective of master distillers handpicked a selection of rums with unique flavour profiles to produce satisfying rum with subtle fruit notes and a rich oak character.
"The event marks the launch of Golden Reserve which, thanks to the true mastery and craftsmanship of the master distillers' collective, is the result of incredible blending of five premium rums," he said.
Mr Jobson said the launch would be a great day out for visitors.
"This is our first event for the year and whether you're a rum fan or not we invite everyone to come down and enjoy some great free breakfast and entertainment," Mr Jobson said.
The event will be held at the Bundaberg rum distillery beginning 8am.
Golden Reserve will be available through the Bundaberg Distilling Company web store at from Monday, March 12.
