THE driver of the car that smashed head-on into another, killing its two occupants, has been charged by police. 

The 30-year-old Hong Kong national will be appearing in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court this afternoon following the Pine Creek crash on Thursday morning.

The backpacker has been charged with dangerous driving causing death.
